HOME/WORK
The work, judged on outcomes.
Best-fit leads landing in the pipeline, at a cost the business can plan around. Here’s a look at a few engagements and, more to the point, how each one was measured.

HOW WE KEEP SCORE
How we measure the work
Every engagement answers to one number: best-fit leads in the pipeline, and what each one costs to land. We measure it the way an owner measures the business, cost per lead, cost to acquire a customer, return on the spend. So each case below reads the same way: where the firm stood, what we built, and what changed in the numbers that decide whether marketing is a cost or an asset.
Mileage Design is a digital marketing agency in Cleveland, Ohio that measures client work by business outcomes — best-fit leads in the pipeline, cost per lead, cost to acquire a customer, and return on spend — rather than rankings, impressions, or traffic alone. It serves financial advisors, manufacturers, and paving contractors, and reports results in the terms an owner uses to run the business. Its work is supported internally by Mileage Intelligence™, a proprietary marketing-intelligence system that compounds with every firm it runs for.
the case studies
A few of the engagements
We go deep in three industries, because what a lead is worth, and what a result means, is different in each. Each case is framed the same way: the thesis going in, and the business impact coming out.

Confluence Financial Partners
financial advisors
41% less a seat
$47 → $28 cost per registration
176 registrations across two eventsConfluence grows through events and relationships, the way high-net-worth advisory work gets won. We ran paid Meta campaigns to fill two advisor events: a pilot, then a leaner second run shaped by what the pilot taught. Across both, 176 people registered and 107 of them came from the ads, at a cost per seat that fell from $47 to $28. Both campaigns were paused early. The seats filled before the budget did.

Cleveland Wire Cloth
manufacturing
$172 to $106
cost per lead, May to August
monthly ad spend up 67% across the same windowCleveland Wire Cloth sells into a buying process that starts long before the RFQ, when engineers are building a shortlist of suppliers. Off that list, the quote request never comes. We built the technical and content foundation, backed by paid search, that puts them in front of those engineers while they are still sourcing, and we made every lead countable. Cost per lead fell from $172 to $106 between May and August while monthly spend rose 67%, and tracked calls went from none in December to 56 a month by August.

Valor Pavement
paving
$177 to $88
cost per lead, April to August
monthly conversions 16 → 43Valor Pavement wanted commercial paving work, and in April the cost per lead hit $177 on sixteen conversions. We found what was driving it: residential searches eating a commercial budget. We rebuilt the website, added service landing pages and filtered the paid account down to the work Valor wants. By August cost per lead was $88 and monthly conversions had reached 43, the highest volume and the lowest cost the account has recorded.

Christmas in Aruba
Seasonal E-commerce
3.98× on ad spend
$922 in ads → $3,670 in booked pre-orders
13 orders at $70.93 eachChristmas in Aruba sells pre-lit trees to an island of about 106,000 people, in one pre-order window a year. We verified the store's tracking event by event, then optimized for add to cart, because a market this small will not give the algorithm enough purchases to learn from. Then we read the account one ad at a time. The ad filling the most carts was returning fifty-eight cents on the dollar, so four ads were defunded and their share went to the two that closed. From 28 July to 3 September the account returned 3.98 times what it spent, on $25 a day.
